Startup Weekend Comes to Charlottesville: March 23-25, 2012!

Charlottesville's will hold its inaugural Startup Weekend event, March 23-25, 2012 at the Charlottesville technology Incubator on the downtown mall.

WHAT:  Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where developers, designers, marketers, product managers, and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups. Check out more at: www.startupweekend.org/about.

WHO: If you have an idea for a new business, then come and pitch it. It's amazing how far you can get in a weekend's time! If you'd rather just listen to other's pitches and join one of their teams, then that's great too. Help someone else build their dream!

BACKGROUND:  The Startup Weekend events are backed by the Kauffman Foundation, the world's largest entrepreneurship-focused foundation.
